Same Sex marriage post deleted off facebook (Current events #6)

How this story relates to the pledges is that John Dickson talks about rights in ways for LGBTI and putting his point out there, mean he should have the right to point out his opinion and he wants gays to be seen as equal. And the pledges, people needed to be heard with their opinions and they wanted to have rights.

Who:John Dickson

What: John Dickson posted a status on facebook on his view of gay marriage and the LGBTI community. And he pointed out some of his opinions on how he is with gay marriage.

Where: Sydney, Australia

When: 16th April 2016

Why: Because he wanted to put his point out there because he was concerned about young gay people and how society brings them down. Also how people put shame on gays and LGBTI.

On the 16th of April 2016 in Sydney, Australia, John Dickson posted a status on facebook offering his opinions on gay marriage and shaming on LGBT in general, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender). He wanted to share his opinion out like any general facebook user on this certain topic later to find out facebook had deleted his post. He received an email from facebook later on saying, they ‘accidentally deleted’ his but they put it back on so he could be able to see the post again.
