Who: Deborah Smith, who is a mum of 5 children.

What: a year ago a mum find out her 2 sons have been involved in drugs so as a punishment she shoots their beds and shoot their phones too. Later this month they were both taken away by social workers and she has now lost custody to both of them.

Why: Back then when she did it, she videoed it and posted it on youtube. She says she wanted the teenagers to realise they couldn’t use drugs and come home to lie in their beds. She also limited thier phone time so they could get their homework and chores finished. BUt the teenagers continued to act up so as punishment she shot their cellphones first before their beds. In the video her 3 children were standing, watching, which cursing at their mum before she yelled I refuse to be cursed,' the mother begins again. 'I refuse to be disobeyed. I take back my role as your parent”. Later on this lead the mum to lose custody over her children and they have been taken away by the UN.
